Exploring the Etruscan city of Blera

Aim of the project is studying the city plateau of the ancient Etruscan city of Blera (Italy) and its surrounding necropoleis through a combination of non-invasive digital methods; including geophysical surveys, LiDAR and SLAM technology. The project is conducted in collaboration with researchers from Lund University working at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, DARKLab and Humanities Lab, the Gothenburg International Organ Academy and Istanbul University. The project is financed with support from the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities, through the Stiftelsen Enbom’s donation fund.
